The Evans Scholars Invitational will debut at The Glen Club in Glenview, IL on May 20-26, 2019. A brand new event on the Web.com Tour, the ESI field will feature the best and brightest future stars of golf. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation. The Evans Scholars Foundation offers full tuition and housing scholarships to deserving caddies across the nation. This past year, 985 Evans Scholars were enrolled at 18 universities. Two Years After Sale, It’s Business As Usual At Balmoral Woods

The course had been put on the market by long time owners the Mortell family, and was finally sold before the 2017 season. Surprisingly, very little changed. PGA Professional, Jay Williams, Makes Golf Fun To Learn With Living Room Lessons!

PGA Professional Jay Williams has been around the Chicago and Northwest Indiana golf scene for many years. Originally from Springfield, MO, Jay has spent time at Olympia Fields CC, Lincolnshire CC and for the past 24 seasons, Briar Leaf Golf Club in LaPorte, IN. He’s well-known for his work with junior golfers, having twice been nominated for the Indiana PGA Section’s Youth Player Development Award. In addition to running the day to day operations at Briar Leaf, he is a highly sought-after golf instructor by players of all ages and abilities. GOLF NOW!
