Nick Hardy and Tee-K Kelly Receive Sponsor Invitations to the 2018 Rust-Oleum Championship

  Mundelein, Illinois (April 10, 2018) – University of Illinois star and Big Ten Player of the Year Nick Hardy will make his professional debut at this year’s Rust-Oleum Championship, June 4-10, at the Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein, tournament officials announced today. KPMG Women’s PGA Championship Returns for an Encore in Chicago’s Northwest Suburb

The best players in women’s golf are set to take the stage once again for the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship June 26-July 1, 2018. The stage – Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, Illinois – will host a Major Championship for the first time since hosting the 1989 PGA Championship, when the late Payne Stewart came from behind to win the first of his three Major Championships. Now, after an extensive clubhouse renovation and course upgrades, Kemper Lakes will end its 16-year hiatus from tournament golf and prepare the course for international attention. (more…)

Highland Park’s Exmoor Country Club to host 2018 Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship

The 2018 Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship will be played at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois, July 11-15, marking the first time since 1997 that one of the five senior major championships has been held in the greater Chicago area. 2019 US Senior Open Championship

The U.S. Senior Open Championship, conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA), will return to the Chicagoland area for the first time in more than two decades when The Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame hosts June 24-30, 2019. Rust-Oleum Championship By Andrew Lamie, Tournament Coordinator, Rust-Oleum Championship We are just two months away from the first year of the Web.com Tour’s Rust-Oleum Championship to be held at the Ivanhoe Club. What exactly is the Web.com Tour? Many casual golf fans probably do not know that much about the Web.com Tour. First off, alumni of the tour include PGA Tour superstars Jim Furyk, Zack Johnson, Keegan Bradley, Brandt Snedeker and current world #1 and Masters favorite, Jason Day. Right now much of Chicago has Cubs fever. To put in terms relative to baseball, the Web.com Tour is the AAA league of professional golf.   (more…)

Eight countries finalized for 2016 UL International Crown

UL International CrownEight nations to compete for second UL International Crown at Merit Club in July By Molly Gallatin, LPGA Media After the conclusion of the ANA Inspiration, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced the eight countries that will compete in the second playing of the UL International Crown, which will be held on July 21-24 at the Merit Club outside Chicago. Based on the Rolex Women’s World Rankings, the eight countries that will compete in the second playing of the UL International Crown are - Republic of Korea, United States, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, England, China and Australia. Team Australia was the last team in with 390 points, edging out ninth place Sweden by a mere eight points. The defending champions, Spain, did not qualify and finished in 11th place 96 points out of the final spot. (more…)

The most exciting women’s team golf event on the LPGA’s 2016 schedule is coming to Chicagoland!
The UL International Crown will be played at the Merit Club in Gurnee, Illinois the week of July 19-24. The UL International Crown is a match play competition between the top 4 players from the top 8 nations by the Rolex Rankings. The inaugural event took place in 2014 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland where Spain was crowned champion over the likes of the USA, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Sweden.
