2013 Four Winds® Invitational

The Symetra® Tour: The Road to the LPGA® is returning to Blackthorn Golf Club again this summer, and it’s bringing up-and-coming women golfers back to South Bend! The Four Winds® Invitational features a field of professional women golfers from around the world, all chasing the $150,000 purse, the largest on the 2013 Symetra Tour.  If the last year is any indication, the competition will be tight and down to the wire. In 2012 Symetra Tour rookie Julia Boland headed into the final round three shots behind the leader. She shot a 3-under 69 to earn her first-career victory, giving her a one-stroke win.

Sponsored by Four Winds Casino and Whirlpool, the tournament is also bringing fun and games for the whole family, including the Applebee’s Kidzone, Kohl’s Fit Feastival, the HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum and Hummer, Golfing on the Gridiron, and much more.

Tickets are $10 per day for adults, but children 15 and under are free! Tickets are available at the Customer Service Desk at all area Martin’s Supermarkets, at the Blackthorn Pro Shop, and online at fourwindsinvitational.com.

All proceeds go to Memorial Children’s Hospital. So come on out, bring the family, see the stars of tomorrow play, have some fun, and support the community.
