The Northern Amateur golf event returns to Sand Creek Country Club for the first time since the last event was played in 2001.
This exciting event starts with practice rounds on Tuesday, July 26th and runs through Friday, July 29th.

17th PHIL KOSIN ILLINOIS WOMEN'S OPEN Adds a Pro-Am, Champions Dinner and Amateur Scholarship.
The Phil Kosin Illinois Women's Open announces that in addition to the State Championship of golf, new events will be included at this year's competition. The IWO Pro-Am presented by BMO Harris Bank will kick-off the celebration of the tournament followed by the Champions Dinner on August 2, 2011. The Joseph A. Kosin IWO Scholarship recipients will also be announced during the dinner.
The IWO Pro-Am presented by BMO Harris Bank is open to the public and will be held at Mistwood Golf Club one day prior to the beginning of the IWO. All proceeds will benefit the Chicago Friends of Golf charity. Anyone who is interested may register for the event online at www.mistwoodgolf.net/iwoproam. Cost is $95 per person and includes 18-holes of golf with an IWO player, cart, range balls, tee gifts, and attendance to the Champions Dinner. Check-in begins at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12 p.m. Dinner will succeed golf at 6 p.m. in the main dining room.

BMW CHAMPIONSHIP & 70 Top PGA Tour Professionals Return To Chicago!
Golf season is in full swing and Chicago is home to some of the most prestigious golf events in the world. The BMW Championship will again be taking place at Cog Hill Golf & CC for the 3rd year in a row on September 12-18 where you will be able to watch and walk with the top 70 PGA Tour Professionals as they tee it up on Dubsdread at Cog Hill -- one of Chicago's top-ranked courses.
